FADE TO BLACK
As the climate continues to change, environmental degradation persists. Species, places, and generational knowledge and culture are swallowed into the dark depths of time. Memories are fractured, families are displaced. Rootless and floating through space and time in the age of eco-anxiety and solastalgia, we cling to the blurry fragments of the past to reconstruct and thereby cope with environmental loss and abandonment.
Yet time is rushing forward; we can never go back, it all fades to black.
