Global Warming is Ruining My Home: Turtle
Shelbey Leco
My work is an examination of the impact global warming has on our planet. Specifically, the piece focuses on turtles. In my piece, you will notice how the turtle is dissected, which represents the rapid decrease in turtle populations since they are unable to lay their eggs on high temperature sands. I also used the imagery of the sun to represent heat and bright almost harsh colors that are uncomfortable to the viewers’ eye.
