I like the edge of things, real and unreal — edge as in poignant and slightly threatening and edge as in interconnection. I like remaking things that already exist, to force them to exist differently: an ecology with more possibilities. It's not just about the future but about mystery and the past. I like making the personal and private, the other and the known, the iconographic and the rare.
